ASERIOUSLY-ILL youngster got to fulfil his dream of meeting his hero - City star Kevin de Bruyne.

Michael Hollyhead, 11, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of seven and is under-going an intensive 70-week course of chemotherapy.

The City-mad youngster, from Rochdale, had said he would love to meet his favourite player, midfield maestro De Bruyne.

And working with the children's charity, Rays of Sunshine, City made his wish a reality by organising a special VIP trip. The youngster was guest of honour at the club's City Football Academy training ground with his brother Andrew, 13, and mum, Jacqui.

He was then given rare access to the first team area where De Bruyne, who has lit up the Etihad Stadium since his Pounds 55m move in the summer, made a surprise appearance. …
