Trinity Flexes Its Muscles

Trinity's fourth-place finish at the Eastern Area Invitaional, which took place last weekend at Gateway High School in Monroeville, is a bit deceiving.

It marked the Hillers lowest team finish in 12 appearances, but they ranked No. 1 in a different, and possibly more important, category.

"West upset a WPIAL champion [Haile] in the finals. Not many people have heard of Joe, but now they will."

Also placing for the Hillers were Jared Roberts (fourth at 130), J.D. Gardner (sixth at 215) and Dustin Patrick (fifth at 275).
