Uncle Bo's, the nightclub on the lower level of the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th, will offer a doubleheader of blues when Jimmie Batcher, known as "the Electric Rev." for his high- voltage guitar playing and emotionally charged vocals, takes the stage from 8 to 9:30 p.m. The Santiago Brothers will follow from 9:45 p.m. to midnight. The Santiagos feature a rotating roster of Midwest blues musicians, with more about the group found on their Facebook page. Tickets are $10 at

the door.

Whey Jennings, grandson of Waylon Jennings, and his band, the UnWanted, will play from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at J&J's Gallery and Event Space, 922 N. Kansas Ave., in the NOTO Arts District. The cover charge is $5. ReverbNation says Jennings fell in love with music when as a boy he stepped on stage at one of his grandfather's shows just after his grandma Jessi Colter finished, and began singing "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" and Grandpa joined in to the crowd's delight. …
