Familiar Name Steps Up at Beaver

Beaver lost one of the best point guards in the WPIAL when Lexi Posset graduated.

Sophomore Bella Posset, Lexi's younger sister, is having a breakout season. At 5 feet 7, Posset is the same height as her sister, and her ability to fill the basket is the same, too. Posset came into the week averaging 19.2 points per game, which ranked second among West Xtra players.

She has picked up right where Lexi left off. Lexi, who now plays at Division I Rider University, averaged 22.5 points a game last season.

Huston said Posset "played the perfect game" last Thursday when she scored 24 points to help Beaver upset Blackhawk, 64-62. Blackhawk had won 30 section games in a row.
