How the Other Half Lived: The Frick Art & Historical Center, Point Breeze was buzzing with anticipation as guests previewed its newest exhibit "Fast Cars and Femme Fatales: The Photographs of Jacques Henri Lartigue." Patrons enjoyed wine and light hors d'oeuvres as they browsed the exhibition, which showcased Mr. Lartigue's work from early 20th century France, living in a wealthy glamorous French family. Everyday strolls down the boulevards of France were forever captured in photographs. #OnMyOwn: This was the first exhibition that Frick director Robin Nicholson booked since taking the position, and a definite shift in what will be explored at the museum could be felt. "I'm really excited to see where he takes this, considering his eye for art and love for photography," said Cary Reed, chair of the Frick board of trustees. …
