UNITED executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is expecting 'more activity' in the summer transfer window as the club plots their quest to regain the Premier League title.

Woodward outlined United's transfer strategy and the restructuring of the club's flagging academy in an investors' call yesterday.

However, there was pointedly no mention of the future of manager Louis van Gaal.

United have held talks with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's representatives in recent weeks and Woodward did not address Van Gaal's future during the 20-minute discussion.
