Wear a Daffodil to Help Terminally Ill Patients

MARIE Curie is launching a Great Daffodil Appeal to raise funds for the charity's nursing services for the terminally ill.

The charity is asking people in Manchester to support the fundraiser by wearing a Marie Curie daffodil pin and donating generously online and at fundraising events.

Fundraiser Lynn Partridge said: "We need everyone in Manchester to get behind the appeal.

"Every penny you can give is vital in helping Marie Curie provide free hands-on care to people living with a terminal illness and support for their families."

The Great Daffodil Appeal will run throughout March and all donations will support the charity's provision of care.

All Marie Curie services are free of charge and around 70 per cent of the charity's income comes from donations. …
