City Will Have Fewer Fans for Bridge Cup Clash

CITY will have a reduced number of fans at their FA Cup tie with Chelsea after the game was re-scheduled.

It comes as matchgoing Blues are set to rack up more than 4,000 miles inside a week to watch their team.

City travel to Stamford Bridge in the tie of the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday.

The Blues travel to the Ukraine just hours later for their key Champions League last 16 match against Dynamo Kiev a week on Wednesday.

And angry boss Manuel Pellegrini has said he will play a weakened team against Chelsea with one eye on the Champions League clash.

And the club have only taken up half of their potential ticket allocation at Stamford Bridge.

Visiting teams are normally handed the entire Shed End of the ground, around 6,000 tickets, for FA Cup ties.

However, City chiefs decided that given the timing of the fixture, they were unlikely to sell all of them, so requested a reduced amount. …
