Stillman Tigers Go 2-0 against Rival Miles College

Stillman men's basketball hosted rival Miles College for the last regular season matchup between the two rivals.

The game was heated with four technical fouls, but the Tigers won again against Miles 95-73 to go 2-0 against the Golden Bears in the regular season. The win is the 10th in a row for Stillman, who improves to a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference leading 19-5 (12-1 SIAC) record.

"It was a great feeling being our last home game," guard Rodnerius Lewis said. "I just tried to leave it all out on the floor."

What started as a close game turned into a blowout quickly after a 20-0 run, that the Tigers put together in the first half. The Tigers had a 24-20 lead in the first half, when the run started. The Tigers then ended the half with a 46-25 lead.

"We hang our hat on defense everyday," Stillman coach Donte Jackson said. …
