Knight, Dale AlanPassed away after a valiant battle with cancer 2/ 12/2016. He was born in Dubuque, IA Sept. 14, 1926 to the late Delbert Dale and Jessie Kerr Knight. He was a loving husband to the late Nancy Frobase Knight for 41 years, and to Susan Bean Knight for 21 years. Dale was drafted in 1944 during H.S., and served at Ft. McClellan, AL. He was recalled to the Korean War in 1950-51. He graduated from Northwestern University, and earned an MBA from Washington University. Dale's career was centered in financial management. In NYC, he joined a large international law firm. He loved telling people how the firm was featured in the film Fatal Attraction. (The bunny lived in his office.) Dale was an avid volunteer, serving as a docent for 25 years at the St. Louis Zoo, also an instructor training new volunteers. Dale was a member of the Living Promise Campaign Cabinet that raised $130 million for the Zoo. He was a faithful member of Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, where he was a ruling elder, chairing the Memorial Committee, Finance, and a member of Staff Resources. …
