Only Way Is Up for Giants Who Look to Tame Wolves

MANCHESTER Giants ran Worcester Wolves very close last time out - and get another shot at them tonight.

Yorick Williams' men went down 79-74 at home two weeks ago against their high-flying rivals, having led by as much as eight points.

They will need to give a similarly battling performance - and cut out some errors - to get the better of them on the road. The Giants have lost their last three since beating Cheshire in early January and remain bottom of the BBL table.

They are, however, within two points of the two teams above them - Surrey and Bristol - and swingman Ingus Bankevics said: "We are training hard to really focus on our game in defence and offence.

"We have been working on our second help in defence, which sometimes we struggle with, and boxing out.

"I think in the last game (against Worcester) we played really well, but when we watched the video, there were a lot of things that we can do better. …
