Storm Can Continue Fine Form to Play-Offs ; Ice Hockey

MANCHESTER Storm general manager Neil Russell has stressed the importance of the remaining Elite League matches as his side try to secure a play-off spot.

Storm are in action twice this weekend, hosting Dundee Stars tonight before travelling to Edinburgh Capitals tomorrow.

Storm are currently sitting ninth in the table, just one point behind Coventry Blaze - though the Coventry outfit do have games in hand.

Their play-off push has come after a great winning run, and Russell insists the team is capable of continuing their fine form.

"We now have four league games left at home this season, four huge home games," he said.

"Can we make the play-offs? Of course we can.

"Is it going to be tricky to do so? Possibly, but who doesn't love a challenge in life? …
