UNITED have secured a deal for Brazilian Felipe Anderson, according to Lazio president Claudio Lotito - only for the Rome club to deny the reports.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old and Lotito is quoted in La Citta di Salerno saying the deal will be finalised in the summer.

"Felipe Anderson will move to United next season, for EUR 60m (Pounds 47m)," Lotito said.

"I bought Felipe Anderson for EUR 8m (Pounds 6.2m), and I've already sold him on for EUR 60m."

Lazio deny the president made that statement, despite the journalist who wrote the piece, Michele Spiezia, claiming Lotito 'unequivocally' said Anderson would leave. United were reportedly in negotiations with the attacking midfielder in January, but failed to complete the transfer.

The club's sporting director Igli Tare claimed United had been eager to sign the Brazilian last summer, revealing that the Reds had failed in a bid of Pounds 37. …
