PICT Classic Theatre will return to the Stephen Foster Memorial in May for the premiere of "Two Tales of Terror," a new adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-tale Heart" and "The Fall of the House of Usher" by PICT artistic and executive director Alan Stanford.

The production will run May 5-20 at the Henry Heymann Theatre within the Oakland building that until this season had been PICT's longtime home.

"Our mainstage season will begin in September at a soon-to-be- announced venue, so we are grateful that the University of Pittsburgh has given us one further opportunity to perform in the Stephen Foster Memorial," Mr. Stanford said in a statement released Wednesday evening.

"Two Tales of Terror" was described as a "one-off" special event before the upcoming season begins in the fall. …
