Marc Welch, 22, of Linden Avenue, McDonald, was charged Monday with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on Scotts Run Road after, police said, he was found passed out behind the wheel of his car.

Two sewing machines worth a total of $11,000 were reported stolen Nov. 30 from the Gloria Horn Sewing Store at Jo-Ann Fabrics, Great Southern Shopping Center. Two machines worth $4,000 were reported stolen Nov. 17 from the same store.

A General Electric microwave oven worth $300 and $200 in General Electric stove burners were reported stolen Friday from the secured garage of a house under construction at McLaine Manor off of Ewing Road. The thefts are believed to have occurred Nov. 26-Dec.1.

Last Wednesday, a female patron of Peter's Place restaurant on Washington Pike reported the theft of her purse containing $35 in cash and a number of credit cards.

Kennedy

Mary O'Donnell, 42, of Kennedy, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after a dispute in a residence on Warbler Drive.

John Emery, 21, of Dormont, was charged Nov. 27 with retail theft after, police said, he had taken $46.58 worth of meat from the Shop 'n Save in Kenmawr Plaza.

Richard McCullough, 45, of Bellevue, was charged Nov. 16 with retail theft after, police said, he stole an assortment of wicker laundry baskets worth $450 from Giant Eagle in the Kennedy Center Shopping Center.

Moon

Police cited 52 minors for underage drinking at a party Friday night at 1506 Coroapolis Heights Road and another 21 early Sunday morning at a party at 1680 Brodhead Road. The arrests were part of a program run in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board called Under 21 Zero Tolerance. The incidents are still under investigation and police may charge whoever supplied the minors with alcohol.

Leonard Young, 18, of Swissvale, and Marsha Smith Hicks, 49, of Delaware Drive, were charged with burglary, robbery, theft and reckless endangerment after a home on Cedar Drive was entered and a man there was robbed at gunpoint.

Malinda R. Anders, 22, of Fern Hollow Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. …
