maths whizz, and Coronation Street's Michael Le Vell were in Salford to help support a marathon three-day five-a-side football match for Sport Relief.

Former footballers Robbie Savage and Alan Shearer captained more than 50 matches which were being played in a 57-hour game at MEDIACITYUK at Salford Quays.

And Rachel, a lifelong Reds fan, and Michael, Coronation Street's Kevin Webster, are just two stars who have been there supporting the initiative.

A number of celebrities, including actor Chris Bisson, former Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas and Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone in the soap, also took to the pitch in Salford this morning.

Earlier this week Manchester City's Joe Hart and United's young star Adnan Januzaj played in games to help drum up funds. …
