BURY ............................. 0 BRADFORD ................. 0 BURY edged a step closer to their League One survival target as they played out another stalemate with play-off chasing Bradford.

A game of few chances saw Bradford striker Wes Thomas go closest to breaking the deadlock with a second-half header.

But the two sides had to settle for a third straight 0-0 draw from their four meetings this season. Including extra-time in their FA Cup replay, it's now 300 minutes in which they have failed to score.

"There's not a lot between the two sides," said Bury boss David Flitcroft. "We probably know each other too well.

"I was pleased with how we tried to pass it but the pitch didn't allow us to move it as quickly as I wanted.

"That allowed Bradford to get back in shape, and they've been a very organised and disciplined team since Phil Parkinson's been there. …
