Family and Friends Raise Cash in Tribute to Julie

A CROWD-FUNDING campaign has been launched to raise money for the unit which treated burns victim Julie Archer before she passed away.

Julie, 49, was found badly injured at her home and was rushed into Wythenshawe Hospital. Doctors fought in vain to save her.

Her family and friends have since launched an online campaign to raise Pounds 4,000 for the hospital's burns unit.

A message on their JustGiving page said: "As many of you may have seen in the news, sadly Julie passed away.

"All of the support of friends and family hasn't gone unnoticed and it is very much appreciated.

"This has been a really hard week for all of the family, and now she can be at peace we would love to donate money to the family and Wythenshawe Hospital burns unit."

All of the people who make a donation will also be entered into a raffle to win make up and makeovers. …
