Fury Eyes Win to Boost World Title Hopes

HUGHIE Fury will hope to move one step closer to a world title shot when he takes on Nagy Aguilera for the vacant WBC International heavyweight title later this month.

The two men will meet at Wembley Arena on March 26 on the undercard of Nick Blackwell's British middleweight title showdown against Chris Eubank Jr.

Hughie is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his cousin Tyson, who became world heavyweight champion when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko last year.

A victory over Aguilera could pave the way for the 21-year-old to face WBC champion Deotany Wilder in the near future, and Hughie's father and trainer Peter Fury expects a tough battle.

"We decided to take the Aguilera fight because the WBC were happy to sanction it as a WBC International heavyweight title fight and we see it as a genuine test," he said. …
