M.E.N Business of the Year Launches ; ?the Annual Awards Event Is Now Open for Entries, Visit WWW.Menbusinessoftheyearawards.Co.UK

THE search for the region's best companies of all shapes and sizes begins this week with the launch of the 2016 M.E.N. Business of the Year Awards. This year, a new category has been added to celebrate the strength and depth of the business community.

The full list of categories are: YOUNG business (up to three years old) TURNOVER under Pounds 5m TURNOVER between Pounds 5m-10m TURNOVER Pounds 10m-25m TURNOVER between Pounds 25m-50m TURNOVER between Pounds 50m-100m TURNOVER of Pounds 100m or more - this new category award is for businesses with a substantial operation in the region but is not headquartered within the Manchester Evening News circulation area.

There will once again also be a Judge's Choice prize, which was won by Living Ventures last year.

Executive sponsors for this year's awards are law firm Hill Dickinson, business advisers PwC, The Manchester College, and recruitment giant Robert Walters. Brand sponsors are Barclays, and Manchester Airport and Hainan Airlines. Category sponsor is Bolton School.

The deadline for entries is Thursday, April 14. The final event will be held during a glittering ceremony at The Midland Hotel, Manchester on Thursday, November 10.
