MANCHESTER'S Corn Exchange will welcome a bit of Scandi style with the opening of Nordic-inspired coffee shop and cafe KUPP.

Established in London last year by pub and bar operator Faucet Inn, the casual all-day food and drink brand has bagged one of the last remaining units in the Grade II-listed former Triangle building, pictured, for its second site.

Diners can start the day with breakfast dishes ranging from pastries and rolls (from Pounds 2) to housesmoked trout with crushed avocado (Pounds 9.50); Swedish pancakes (Pounds 7.50); and a smorgasbord piled with smoked salmon and ham, cheese, crispbread and lingonberry jam (Pounds 10.50).
