2 Arrested with Bomb Device ; Deputies Find Baby, Improvised Explosive Contraption in Stolen Van with Wanted Topekans

A pair of suspects face several charges each after being arrested in Jackson County with an improvised explosive device and 1-year- old child.

About 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jackson County deputies responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle parked on the edge of a pasture in Hoyt, according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse.

In the 17000 block of 98th Road, the deputies found two people with outstanding warrants from Topeka: Christopher Allen Dollen, 34, of Valley Falls, and Cassandra Nichole Reveles, 28, of Denison.

A 2008 Ford Econoline van the two were found in had been reported stolen in Shawnee County, according to Morse.

Inside the van, deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, an item believed to be an improvised explosive device and a 1-year-old child. …
