'When Irish Eyes Are Smiling' on Tap at LaBelle Theater in S.C

An evening of authentic Irish music, comedy and more is on tap Friday, March 18, at the LaBelle Theater, 311 D. St. South Charleston. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for "When Irish Eyes are Smiling, an event sponsored by the South Charleston Museum Foundation and the South Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau. Admission is $10 for adults, $4 for children.

George Daugherty, the Earl of Elkview/Duke of Dunbar, will perform with his O'Daugherty Family singers and friends, including Vandalia Award winners Buddy Griffin and Roger Bryant.

The concert is dedicated to the area's "No. 1 Irishman, Pat Moroney, and performed in memory of Carl Wills, a well-known, local archeologist.
