Aubuchon, Elizabeth Rae (nee Sztukowski) departed this life on March 14, 2016.She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Aubuchon of Washington, Missouri, sons Todd (Nicole), Bryce (Kathleen) and Derek (Kelly), her granddaughters Allison and Kaley, and her adoptive grandson Jacob. Mrs. Aubuchon was raised from childhood onward for a career in theater. She had acting, dancing, and singing lessons. She appeared on the stage of the St. Louis Municipal Opera in two different shows at age 8. She acted in summer theater at St. Louis University while in high school, then attended Southeast Missouri University on a scholarship in drama. She afterward appeared under the stage name Elizabeth Rae at various dinner theaters, the Sir John Falstaff Theatre, and on television and radio. Her favorite role always remained that of Rapunzel at the Falstaff, where she ran through an audience of screaming children as a wicked witch pursued her. Acting at the Goldenrod Showboat on the St. Louis riverfront, she was cast opposite a young lawyer working as an actor part-time. …
