THIS weekend the teams from the Kingstone Press Championship begin their quest to get to Wembley in the fourth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

After taking the scalps of Salford Red Devils and Wakefield Wildcats last season, Leigh Centurions start their cup run at home to Workington Town who have picked up just one win this season, which came last week over Oldham as they saw out a 23-12 win.

Neil Jukes' side had to battle past Halifax in their last outing as they secured a 26-18 victory, taking their unbeaten run to five games and will be looking to progress today.

Swinton Lions made it to the fifth round last season, seeing off London Skolars and Rochdale Hornets before Championship side Batley Bulldogs inflicted a 46-14 defeat on John Duffy's men.

They face Championship opposition again this year, travelling to full-time club Sheffield Eagles today. …
