Paul Daniels * Best known for "The Paul Daniels Magic Show," which regularly attracted 15 million TV viewers in Britain and was sold to 43 countries, he has died after suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. He was 77.

His publicist, Bex Colwell, said in a statement that Mr. Daniels died Thursday (March 17, 2016) at his home in Berkshire, 60 miles west of London.

Meir Dagan * A former Israeli general and longtime director of the country's spy agency died Thursday (March 17, 2016). He was 71.

Mr. Dagan directed the Mossad from 2002 until he retired in early 2011.

Under his leadership, the Mossad reportedly carried out covert attacks against Iranian nuclear scientists and unleashed cyberattacks, including the Stuxnet virus, developed in cooperation with the United States. …
