Red Devils Were Made to Pay Price for Complacency - Flanagan

SALFORD Red Devils allowed complacency to creep in against struggling Hull KR last weekend, according to forward Mark Flanagan.

Since an opening-day defeat away to Hull FC, Ian Watson's side had put in a series of impressive displats, suffering only narrow losses to Warrington and Wigan in-between wins over St Helens, Castleford and the otherwise unbeaten Widnes Vikings.

But despite getting the first try of the game, the Red Devils allowed KR to build up a 30-6 by half-time on Sunday and eventually lost t44-30.

"The worst thing we could have done was score early, because I think we got a bit complacent and came away from the things we've been doing pretty well these last few weeks," said former Wigan and St Helens star Flanagan. …
