IT was double trouble on derby day for one City star after his Pounds 330,000 supercar was reportedly seized by police. Samir Nasri had to sit out the defeat against United at the Etihad as he recovers from injury.

And the French midfielder was pulled over in the luxury grey Lamborghini, which can travel up to 200mph, on Wilson Street in Beswick, just yards away from City's multi-million pound training complex. It is understood police believed the car was not registered to be driven in the UK.

Blues fans said the 27-year-old was leaning against a wall as officers inspected the Aventador Pirelli Edition.

Bystanders said a club chauffeur then came to pick him up.
