TWO girls who called the RSPCA thinking they'd seen a snake in a bin were left red faced after it turned out to be a bag full of dog poo.

RSPCA officers were called out to Littleborough to reports of a snake in a plastic bag inside a bin.

Inspector Jason Bowles went along and met the girls who were waiting patiently for him to arrive.

On went the gloves and he lifted the bin, spotting the plastic bag immediately.

The two girls screamed as Jason reached in to grab it, but unbeknown to them, there was no snake, it was actually a dog poo bag.

RSPCA Rochdale Animal Centre posted the lighthearted tale on its Facebook page.

It said: "Yesterday the RSPCA helpline had a call from two girls, in Littleborough, who had seen a snake in a plastic bag in a bin. …
