Warning as Cats Die in Suspected Poisoning

A WARNING has been issued after two cats died from suspected poisoning in Trafford.

Devastated owner Rachel Horkan, 21, lost two of her beloved pets in a matter of days after finding them stricken in Timperley.

Rachel found out about the death of the oldest of her four cats, ginger tom Bailey, two, on Monday morning.

A message was posted on Facebook from a resident on a nearby street saying she had found him died in her garden.

Then just three days later, she found one of her two kittens collapsed in her own back garden on Briarfield Road.

Seven-month-old Forrest was rushed to the vets after being left barely able to move.

But Rachel had to take the difficult decision to have her put down.

Both the vets and the RSPCA told her they believed the animals were most likely poisoned.

And carer Rachel is now urging other owners to be vigilant.

She said: "I am devastated. To lose one of them was really upsetting but two is heartbreaking.

"I've no idea why anyone would want to harm them. …
