St. Louis Police Find Three Bodies at Two Scenes in 20-Minute Span

ST. LOUIS * Homicide detectives were scrambling Wednesday morning in St. Louis after three bodies were found minutes apart.

The victims were men. All were shot. Two of the deaths were connected to an abandoned house where meth was being manufactured, police say.

Wednesday evening, another man was fatally shot.

Police hadn't made arrests in any of the homicides.

At the first shooting, about 7:20 a.m., police found Mark Scott shot to death in the 4800 block of Anderson Avenue, in the city's Penrose neighborhood. He had been shot in his side and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe he was killed between 3 and 7:15 a.m. Scott, 44, lived in the 4200 block of Euclid Avenue, police said.

About 20 minutes later, homicide detectives were sent to another shooting scene, about two miles to the south. …
