The 2016 presidential campaign is loud, lively and hotly contested. With April around the corner, both the Democratic and Republican parties still have battles for their nominations.

The Pennsylvania primary is April 26, and state residents who are following the debates, the forums, the comparisons and the insults will have a chance to weigh in - but only if they are registered to vote.

That window of civic opportunity is about to close. Monday, March 28, is the last day to register for voting in this year's primary.

Applicants can register the old-fashioned way at a number of brick-and-mortar locations: county election offices; PennDOT photo and drivers license centers; Women, Infant & Children (WIC) program offices; military recruitment centers; area agencies on aging; county clerk of orphans' courts or marriage license offices; and county mental health offices, among other places. …
