Man is taken to hospital after falling from tree

A man needed an emergency evacuation after falling about 45 feet from a tree Monday in Nottingham, Washington County.

An emergency dispatch supervisor said first responders were called to the scene at 1:12 p.m. in the 3100 block of state Route 136.

It's unclear why the man was in the tree, and the extent of his injuries.

The dispatcher could not confirm which hospital the man was taken to.
