Belle Vue Repairs on Track for Lions Visit

IN the wake of their emphatic season opener at King's Lynn, Belle Vue have vowed with conviction that their early season gremlins will not plague their campaign at home.

Though still counting the costs of the ill-fated inaugural meeting, continuing remedial works on the brand new circuit of the National Speedway Stadium have been producing encouraging results.

A closed practice session was held for both the Elite and National sides to help assess the level of progress being made around the two problem zones, turns 3 and 4. Efforts to improve conditions in these areas continued into the Easter weekend, despite poor weather, and chief operations officer, Chris Morton, is happy that improvements have been made.
