Wine Finds: Reds from Italy's Marche

Sharing a pizza night with friends can be quite a treat, especially if you include a wine none of you has previously tasted. If Tuscan reds are your usual go-to wines for pizza, consider wines from other parts of Italy. One option would be those from Marche, a region on the eastern side of central Italy. Although best known for its whites, Marche's reds have been gaining attention for their quality and value. The following are two from Rosso Piceno, the largest appellation in the region. Both are made from sangiovese and montepulciano organic grapes.
