GONZALES EARNS 300TH WIN: Manhattan wrestling coach Bob Gonzales earned dual win No. 300 in his career Thursday night when the Indians defeated Derby 36-22 at Newman University in Wichita. Gonzales, who spent 19 years as coach at Shawnee Heights before taking over at Manhattan in 2005, is 300-171 overall in duals.

Manhattan is fourth in the KWCA Class 6A rankings. The Indians are coming off a dominating performance at the Centennial League meet, placing 10 in the finals and winning eight titles.

ROADRUNNERS FALL TO WICHITA FALLS 6-2: Topeka allowed three goals in both the first and third periods, losing 6-2 to the Wildcats on Friday night in Wichita Falls, Texas.
