JUST 10 months after the opening of the FC United football stadium in Moston (built on playing fields and parkland), it seems there is in-fighting, resignations, disagreements and money problems.

Despite the club courting publicity at every opportunity, strangely, the current state of affairs at the club has been kept firmly under wraps and there has been no publicity whatsoever.

Very different from the usual half pages chronicling every detail, be it members picking up stones or drones with cameras flying over the site showing the latest build stage.

It seems the club only wants publicity when it is deemed to be good news and anything not-sogood hopefully stays within the confines of the stadium walls.

April 2011 marked the start of a nightmare for people who didn't want to lose their playing fields but they were cajoled into believing the project would drag Moston out of the depravation ratings and there would be several different types of sports available - neither of which has been the case - along with the attempts to convince people about the enormous amount of work the club is doing for the community when again there is no evidence of this. …
