On Jan. 15, I attended the taping of the WDVE morning show at the Rhythm House Cafe in Bridgeville. I parked on a side street in front of the Comfort Inn. The nearest no-parking sign is about 100 feet away in front of Kings Restaurant. I have parked in this spot in front of the Comfort Inn a number of times before with no problem.

When I left The Rhythm House, my car was gone. I heard no announcement about cars being towed and no one seemed to know anything about the cars that were towed. I had to call 911 in order to find out what happened to my vehicle. I found that Foremost Automotive, of Bridgeville, had towed the vehicle and that their hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It would seem Foremost and South Fayette are more interested in getting their hands into someone's pocket than providing any type of service or protection by towing vehicles and impounding them after their business hours and leaving no way to retrieve my vehicle but to take a day off from work. …
