Passover starts at sundown on April 22, so many Jews will be buying kosher wines to be served during seders. These are ritual meals held the first two nights of the holiday to commemorate the story of the Exodus, in which Jews were freed from slavery in Egypt. Traditional foods include savory and sweet dishes, as well as fish, beef and chicken. Because of this variety, look for wines that are food friendly and versatile. The following two cabernet sauvignon wines are medium-bodied reds that have soft tannins and will pair with a range of dishes.
