TRAIN bosses are warning United fans there won't be a train home to Manchester after the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The late kick-off at 5.15pm on Saturday, April 23, means it's almost certain loyal fans won't make it to Euston for the last train back... unless they leave early.

Services will stop after 9pm due to Network Rail 'essential maintenance work' on the West Coast mainline - which Virgin say the FA had been made aware of before scheduling the game.

But with just 470 seats on the largely pre-booked final service - compared with 31,000 away tickets - this train will not be an option, Virgin has warned and is urging travelling supporters to consider an overnight stay.
