Bostick Leaves Broadcast Gig Osborn Returns as the Analyst

Bill Osborn will replace Pat Bostick on Pitt's football radio broadcasts this fall, the school announced Friday.

Bostick, a former Pitt quarterback, had worked alongside Bill Hillgrove, who will return for his 43rd season as play-by-play man, for the past five years. He is stepping away to focus on his role as director of development for the Panther Club, the fundraising arm of Pitt's athletic department.

"It has been an honor to call Pitt football games alongside the legendary Bill Hillgrove," Bostick said in a statement. "I will forever owe a debt a gratitude to Bill for his friendship, professionalism and introducing me to broadcasting. While I'll miss being in the booth, I'm very excited about taking the next step in my professional journey."

He will be replaced by Osborn, who previously served as the Panthers color analyst from 1995-2003. …
