Gas Pump Attendant Robbed at Gunpoint

WOODLAND PARK -- Police are looking for two men who pulled a gun and robbed the attendant at the Lukoil gas station on Squirrelwood Road early Saturday.

The attendant, Karil Alfaouri, said he had just opened up at around 5 a.m. when a black Nissan Maxima pulled up to the pump. Two men were inside the car, and both were wearing masks that covered the face but had holes for the eyes, he said.

The driver asked for $10 worth of gas and then told the passenger to go get a soda. Alfaouri said the passenger got out of the car, walked around to rear of the vehicle, pulled out a handgun and stuck it in his back.

"He only said two words: 'Don't move,' " Alfaouri said.

The driver told Alfaouri to hand over his money, Alfaouri said.

Alfaouri said he reached into his pocket and gave him everything he had: $20. …
