Washburn Falls to Fourth after Two Rounds in MIAA Golf Championships

The Washburn golf team dropped to fourth place in the second round of the MIAA Golf Championships on Tuesday at Tiffany Springs Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo.

Washburn, which led by three shots after the first round, currently sits 17 shots behind first-place Central Oklahoma, which will take a team score of 280 into Wednesday's final round.

Four of Washburn's golfers are in the top 25, led by Carson Roberts, who is tied for 11th with a two-round total of 148 (4-over par). Ronnie McHenry and Justice Valdivia are tied for 17th at 151, Ivan Amarilla is tied for 24th at 153 and Alex Green is tied for 37th at 158.

Blake Lammers leads the tournament with a 2-under 142.
