MANCHESTER Magic rounded off a superb season in style with a come-from-behind win in the NBL1 play-off final.

Paul Middleton's team already had the Championship, National Cup and National Trophy in the bag before their clash with Reading Rockets at the Manchester's new National Performance Centre.

And they completed a clean sweep of all honours by beating a spirited Berkshire side 72-65 who pushed them all the way in a thrilling clash.

But the driving force of Ellis Cooper and Franc Garcia Garrido - in his last game for the club - saw them home.

Middleton praised that duo and shooting guard Jack Minister - but saved a special mention for the dogged dirty work of veteran Ryan Lohfink, also possibly enjoying his Magic swan song, "Franc and Ellis were outstanding," said Middleton. "And Jack was too. But I thought Ryan was great.

"He didn't score much but in that period and the second and third quarters when we needed to hit back he showed real heart and helped us get back in it. …
