Shakers Boss Frustrated by Cheap Goals

DAVID Flitcroft was left frustrated after seeing his Bury side lose 3-1 at home to Millwall.

For long periods, Flitcroft felt the Shakers matched a side that is pushing for promotion from League One, as they did at Scunthorpe in midweek.

But again the Bury boss believed his team conceded goals too easily as they slipped to a second successive defeat. Chris Taylor and Steve Morison scored for Millwall in the first half and although Ryan Lowe pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, Taylor sealed victory late on.

"Millwall are very good out of possession," said Flitcroft.

"They're very disciplined and organised, and that's been our Achilles heel this season because we've conceded too many goals.

"Yet when we score it's got to be a wonder goal.

"The ball from John O'Sullivan was sublime and Lowey's finish was incredible. We were in the ascendancy in the second half and were pushing to win the game but you've got to score at those key times, you've got to make the keeper work harder. …
