* After hovering on the fringe for most of the season, the Ridgewood girls (8-2) cracked the Nike/Lax Magazine top 25 national poll this week, debuting at no. 15. The two teams the Maroons have fallen to - Summit and Wantagh (N.Y.) - are listed at nos. 6 and 7, respectively. State-power Moorestown, who Ridgewood defeated, 12-8, is no. 25.

* Lakeland senior Annie Yost reached the 200-goal career milestone April 23 in a victory over Waldwick. With 206 goals and 88 assists, Yost is six points shy of eclipsing the 300-point plateau.

* Sammy Cermack, a 2010 Ridgewood graduate and former Record Player of the Year, was selected 39th overall in the inaugural United Women's Lacrosse League draft by the Philadelphia Force. Cermack, who is the older sister of Ridgewood junior Hannah, registered 69 goals and 54 assists as a senior to lead the Maroons to their first and only Tournament of Champions title. The UWLL begins play in late May.

* West Milford senior Tess Korinko became the second player in program history to reach the 100-goal career milestone. She reached the mark with a career-high six goals in a 17-7 win over North Warren. Korinko has 18 goals and seven assists for the Highlanders (5-4) this spring.

* Glen Rock has rattled off nine straight wins since a one-goal loss to Ramsey on opening day. Julia Gaffey (41 goals), Alyssa Lorenz (23 goals) and Killeen McDonald (22 goals) have paced the attack for the Panthers, who are seeded 10th in the Bergen County tournament and will meet seventh-seeded Ramapo today in the second round.

* Pascack Valley rejoins The Record Top 10 girls rankings this week at No. 10, following a 13-10 victory over then-No. 7 Ramsey. Katie Gallagher score four times in the win, and Natalie Bade and Jenny LaRocca each recorded a hat trick. The teams will meet again today in the second round of the county tournament.

* Lakeland's Michael Wilson picked up his 200th career point Monday in a win against Clifton. The junior attack delivered two goals and five assists as the Lancers cruised to a 15-2 victory.

* West Milford junior attack Anthony Pellegrino secured his own milestone when he reached 100 career points Monday against Paramus. He scored four goals in a 12-9 win for the Highlanders (6-7), who also beat Wayne Hills this week. …
