Van Gaal: I'm Staying ; Boss Tells Season Ticket Holders He Will Still Be at United Next Season

LOUIS van Gaal has told season ticket holders he will be at United next season.

And in a show of unity by the club to their manager, the under- fire Dutchman has been put at the centre of the Reds' bid to drive ticket renewals ahead of next season.

Van Gaal was left out of the official club video to promote the pre-season tour to China, sparking speculation he is set to be axed at the end of the current campaign.

There have been reports former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been lined up to take over, despite Van Gaal having a year left on the three-year contract he signed in 2014. But now, in a letter sent to season ticket holders ahead of the renewal deadline, Van Gaal features prominently.

And it includes a message from the 64-year-old, in which he promises to 'bring success back to this club'.

It read: "There is no doubt in my mind that Manchester United has the best fans in the world, and the relationship between the team and the fans is very special. …
