CITY continued their perfect record in the Women's Super League with a commanding win over bottom-of-the-league Doncaster Belles.

The victory leaves them six points clear at the top of the league, ahead of second-placed Chelsea.

An impressive Bank Holiday crowd of 2,227 at the City Football Academy saw Lucy Bronze, Jill Scott, Jane Ross, Jennifer Beattie, Kosovare Asllani and Toni Duggan all get on the scoresheet.

City have now netted 13 goals in five games, as well as keeping five clean sheets.

Blues boss Nick Cushing made just one change from Friday night's 2-0 win away to Sunderland, with Duggan replacing Daphne Corboz.

Nikita Parris provided the assists for Bronze to start the scoring off after just seven minutes.

Three minutes later, Scott doubled the lead for the home side before Ross scored her fifth goal in six games after grabbing the rebound from Parris' effort off the bar. …
