Mixed-Use Project Slated for Development near Busch Stadium

A redevelopment plan to construct a mixed-use building one block west of Busch Stadium has been submitted to St. Louis' Board of Aldermen.

The developer wasn't identified in the city documents.

However, the project is right next to Cupples 9, a $30 million renovation undertaken by the Koman Group after it purchased the building out of foreclosure in 2011.

That building owned by a Koman entity, Cupples 9 LLC currently has tenants that include Asynchrony Solutions, a growing software developer, and the Flying Saucer Draft Emporium beer hall on the ground floor.

Koman also has developed other projects within the old historic warehouse district just west of Busch Stadium.

The proposed development site sits on land owned by Cupples Parking LLC, which owns the adjacent parking lots; Cupples 9 LLC; and mass transit operator Bi-State Development. …
