If you were confused by the first trailer for the "Ghostbusters" reboot, you're not alone.

Melissa McCarthy, who plays a paranormal researcher, called the peek at the movie "very confusing" because the trailer makes it seem as if the movie is a continuation of the "Ghostbusters" films of the '80s.

The trailer, which dropped in March, opens with the statement that "30 years ago four scientists saved New York. This summer a new team will answer the call."

"It's a reboot. I know it's weird that they said (in the trailer) the '30 years ago,' because in the movie, like, the first one didn't happen," McCarthy said Monday.

McCarthy's comments come after Screen-Crush reported that the trailer has received more "dislikes" than any trailer in YouTube history. …
